Usahawan Kanak2 Untung RM 10,000

This article was taken from Kosmo Newspaper

Wahhh.. Rm10,000!!!! banyak tu dik... macam mana boleh dapat amount sebanyak itu..?!!?!

there you go...

we can clearly see how age does not matter when conducting business.. even if you are 12 years old like Shafiq. All that it takes is a bit of confidence, a starting capital and good communication skills...which most of us are lacking at the moment, especially after graduating. One of the ways of doing business is through direct-selling. This is what this kid has done, selling "One drop perfume" products. Shafiq would always watch his parents sell at downtown. This is clearly no easy task, smiling at potential customers are not enough to convince the buyers to buy the goods. We might have a degree and score A's in all subject, but in the real world, paper alone does not materialise in order for you to become successful. I have to agree, I have the same problem at times..this is actually a way of reminding myself. We can just watch people do direct-selling around us. Some will follow you until you are convinced, while others might just stand there, look nervous, and act like you don't exist.. They want to approach you, but they are just not sure how to and not confident enough.

This business has potential if you really know how to sell. Why do i say this, actually not as a way of promotion, but I use to live in Egypt where they would sell perfumes, I bought couple of bottles back with me before I left. Some Malaysian students would even bring some back to Malaysia and sell. It is cheaper there definitely. Perfumes will always be in demand because of its daily use. People want something that lasts, smells good, and Egyptian perfumes (free from alcohol) are just the thing they are looking for.

As a conclusion, to my readers, regardless of your age, do not use it as an obstacle from doing well in business. If you are still studying, start joining societies where you can learn to work with people and stand out. I myself want to be successful and take this story as a way of motivation, and you should too.

It does not mean you have to wait till you are 40 to drive a BMW... a reminder to myself.. =)
